4月11日より表参道 DiEGOにて、個展「on fullness」を開催いたします。
本展は焼き物だけで構成された作品の展覧会です。
外から加えるのではなく、
内にあるものに耳を澄ませること。
空洞を抱えながら立ち上がるかたちの中に、
静かに満ちていく感覚を探ります。
ー
会場のDiEGOでは学生の頃に初めての個展を開催させていただいて以来、今回で4度目となります。
これまで繰り返し個展をさせていただいてきた中で、
毎回自分自身の制作について見つめ直し、また1歩踏み出すきっかけを作ってくださってきた場所です。
だからこそ今回はひとつの試みとして、異素材を組み合わせず、陶のみで制作した作品を展示いたします。
陶だけの作品はこれまでにも制作してきましたが、このように焦点を当てて展示をするのは初めてです。
あらためて大事なことを見つめ直す機会をいただけたことを、嬉しく感じています。
内部に空洞を抱えながら形作られていく陶という素材と、いつも以上にしっかり向き合いながら
「〈 満ちる〉とは何か」をじっくり探っています。
ご覧いただく皆さまがどのように受け取ってくださるのか、
少しどきどきしておりますが、ぜひご高覧ください。

I am pleased to announce my solo exhibition “on fullness,” opening on April 11.
This exhibition consists of works made entirely of ceramic.
Rather than adding from the outside, I listen closely to what already exists within.Within forms that rise while holding emptiness, I explore a quiet sense of fullness that gradually emerges.

This will be my fourth solo exhibition at DiEGO, where I first exhibited as a student.
Through the opportunities I have been given to present my work here, it has been a place that continually brings me back to my practice, while also encouraging me to take a step forward each time.
For this reason, as a new attempt, I will present works made solely of ceramic, without combining other materials.
Although this is not the first time I have created works solely in ceramic, I wanted to take this opportunity to revisit what is essential to my practice, and I feel grateful to have been given this chance.
Engaging more closely than ever with the material of clay—formed while holding an inner void—I am carefully exploring what it means “to be filled.”
I feel a quiet sense of anticipation about how the work will be received, and I would be very happy if you could come and experience the exhibition.
